Craig Deppen Auge

IG: craigdeppenauge

Craig Deppen Auge is an artist currently residing in Kansas City Missouri. His works explore the relationships between material, shape, color, gesture and mark making, site and psyche. He merges and flows between collage, alternative bookmaking, salvage assemblage, and impromptu public intervention. Ephemeral, formal explorations reflect through-lines of self, and potentially activate collective deja-vu. He has exhibited regionally and nationally in venues such as Kiosk Gallery in Kansas City and Site in Brooklyn. Works have been included in many publications, among them The Hand Magazine, For Your Eyes Only, and Cut Me Up. Craig attended the On::VIEW residency at Sulfur Studios in Savannah GA in 2018. He is a 2019-2020 Charlotte Street Foundation Studio Resident and will be an Elsewhere Museum Resident later this year in Greensboro NC.
